Alinta Energy is developing the Marri Wind Farm project in the Shire of Dandaragan, approximately 140 km north of Perth. The wind farm will have a capacity of up to 550MW with up to 82 turbines.
The project has been awarded Development Application approval and is now a WA Priority Project. Construction is targeted to commence by 2027 and is expected to take 3 years. The project will have an operational lifespan of 30+ years.
The work packages may be subject to change as Marri Wind Farm continues to progress through the development stage.
